There are two common types of sloths: three toed sloths and two toed sloths. Three toed sloths are mostly gray and have markings on their face. Two toed sloths are mostly brown and fuzzy, they are very cute. Sloths are actually good at swimming! They jump out of trees and swim. Sloths are so slow that they grow algae and bugs live on them. When these bugs die, it gives the sloth nutrients for the algae to grow. The algae then acts as camoflauge and food for the sloth.
